Instructions for Authors: Submissions

Conceptus publishes articles written in English and German. The length of the manuscripts must not exceed 8.000 words.

Articles should be submitted in PDF or Tex and sent as email attachment to

conceptus AT conceptus.at

The submitted articles must be suitable for blind refereeing. Every submission must include a short summary in English or German. Articles may be accepted with no or minor revisions, rejected, or authors may be invited to submit a new version of the paper. After the review process and if a submitted paper is accepted for publication, the author will receive Conceptus style guidelines per email and will be asked to provide a final electronic version in accordance with these style guidelines.

Papers that are submitted to Conceptus should not have been published elsewhere or should not be considered for being published by any other journal or publisher.

Style guidelines

Submissions in Latex are highly appreciated. Using special characters and formulas, please use Latex.

A simple and uniform layout should be used (no mixing fonts). A maximum of two levels of section headings should be used (2 Philosophy , 2.1. Plato, 2.2. Aristoteles). Quotations that are longer than three lines must be detached from the main text. Avoid bold fonts. Use footnotes with a consecutive number instead of endnotes.

References

References of quotations should appear in the text in the form of author date, page. Example: (Davidson 2005: 47)

All bibliographical references must be repeated at the end of the text under the heading References according to the following style:
